People come and people go,
many of you are very helpful at times,
and the humor is great too.
Thanks Wayne for providing the site for a little comraderie. :usa

Paulette is taking some time away from the forum. I'll let her explain when she returns.

Joe

Gee, I hope she does return. I, too, was one of the first signers of the petition...and believe me at that time I wondered if there would be some repercussions. I sure have enjoyed the forum and do agree that it has been of tremendous help to bounce questions/ideas off other people. I didn't mean to imply that in the threads about appraising people were rude - it is just usually the watercooler. I try to either inject humor or stay very, very neutral. It's amazing to me how serious people become about some issues!

Nancy in Friday Harbor is still around. Her addiction appears to lean more towards reading than posting.

Whatever you do--if she's invited you to Friday Harbor take her up on it. There's nothing like the San Juan Islands in the spring or summer.

She's probably out feeding the eagles or snapping photos of the whales!

A few years ago I took the wife to Seattle, Victoria, and then Vancouver. The ride through the San Juan Islands on the ferry was breath taking. Truely one of the most senic areas in America!

I think the thrust of Bobby Buck's post was not to get an evaluation of the forum as it now exists, but instead, I think he genuinely misses some of those people, as I do, and he wondered if anyone had any information about them, and if they were lurking, to let them know they were missed.

Bobby, great comments about the posts and posters.

And to add to the list: Mike Boyd, Bob Henderson.

And, if the topic is really an evaluation of the Forum, ..... I think it is the one of the best things that has happended in appraising in a long time. It's power and influence are strong and beneficial.

Regards,

Tom
