On the bottom of the second page of a 1004 form and at the bottom of the signature page, there is the name of the company I currently work for. I havent figured out how to insert a different company name so that I can work for more than one company. Any ideas?

posted by mistake........

I believe that the name on the bottom of the form is the name of the company your software is licensed to. If I am correct the only way to change it is by obtaining another ACI license for the other company. Best bet is to call ACI and check it out

How can you moonlight for another company if you are a trainee? Be very careful with your thinking or lack thereof.

not at trainee

I am certified and maybee I should not have used the term "moonlighting"...as my current boss is aware that I will be picking up some extra work on the side.

I knew someone would respond negatively.....someone always does on this forum!

Thanks RJS for your input, no thanks to Tony.

Thanks for your reply, Robin. A little forethought and clarification of your OP would have eliminated this back and forth. No need to bite me. Bite yourself.

The name at the bottom of the form is the name of the company that the software is licensed to. The only way to change it is to call the software company and pay a fee to have it changed; however, the only person that can authorize this is the owner of the license. Therefore, you will have to purchase your own license. (this applies to alamode)

figured it out

I was able to figure it out...went up to Options, Environment, and unchecked "update security information..."

Just thought I'd post it in case someone else was wondering how.

I think what you are wanting to do is really low. Your current boss has paid for the software and license and you want to use it for yourself. Why don't you purchase your own copy of the software, purchase your own E&O and start your own company.

I bet you are using his MLS and tax records log ins too.
