Ndc Data: Revised Site

I have a strong DSL hard wired into the modem but the Plat page is blank. Surprising enough I can still get the plat using the old version of NDC (which I prefer visually) but I'm prompted for my password each time I try to perform any function, and it appears to be a control they implemented to discourage folks from using the prior version.

My mentor just told me that I need to download JAVA to obtain the plat maps, whatever that is.

I sent NDC an e-mail asking why in the world would they change the platform when we're facing crises from every direction. The response pertained to location maps although I don't quite understand...I embrace change, but not just for the sake of change. The proprety profile is printing out so small that I can barely read it although I don't have that problem with any other websites?????

Yea I have always used the NDC icon to print but I'll try using the file menu per your implied suggestion. The left margin is 3 or 4 inches????

Vote me on the side of "NOT a fan of the new NDC site".....i adapt easily to most changes but this does not work well in print format, font, ease of use etc. been a long term NDC user, this may soon change.

I've gotten used to it. What ever it lacks in formatting and speed, it makes up for with the "hide trustees deeds" button.

I thought the old site, although could use some improvments, worked pretty good. New site is slow, and actually requires extra steps (ex: to search for property by apn, you have to click on apn on the left, the old site gives you address and apn option on the same page). Also adjusting comp paramaters is very slow. I hope the leave the old site up forever....

I'm still using the old site till they get the bugs worked out of the new site.

I have used NDC since their inception, but that's about to change. There is no reason on God's green earth that the profile pages needed to be re-formatted. Now, I have to actually read every line to find what I'm looking for, instead of just scanning the page.
Of course that presumes one can actually read their new type font.
The site is soooo sloooow, I can't stand the default search non-option, and have been using the legacy site for everything, even though the mapping funtion is crippled, it's still better than the new. I sincerly hope that NDC reads this forum. When I attempted to contact them with my concerns, I got an email back saying that
I was doing it wrong and they would contact me via phone to get me straightened out. That was in mid August. I'm still waiting for that call. Now I know why JD Peterson retired. I would have quit too.
