That works for me...with one exception...

A fund be set up to defend any appraiser who gets into trouble and can prove their report was altered after transmission.

I would bet the number of value/loan related changes are miniscule. But, that is not the point, is it? Any change that alters the appraisal so that it does not match what is delivered is just plain wrong.

There is a recurring thread here about "QC" companies calling and asking appraisers to verify if an appraisal they have is in fact the particular persons appraisal and if the value is the same etc. Wonder if LSI's clients (BOA etc) would be willing to do some reverse QC and send the appraiser a copy of what they received so the appraiser can verify that it matches exactly what they produced and submitted?

One look at the top of the page where is has the letters ACI and I'm going to tell them it isn't my report.

My thought as well, and I don't have to hire a copyright attorney to prove it.

Software providers could well be liable for contributory copyright infringement. There are three types of copyright infringement, direct, contributory and vicarious. Basically, the software provider, the conduit, and lender client, could all well be considered infringers and potentially liable. All of you, who utilize AI Ready Software, are likely to have your work infringed. FMV Management is trying to help all of you realize you can recover your lost income and the infringers profit. Educate Yourself about copyright.

Terrible.

spend a few days off the board and read all this terrible stuff. 5 com parables, 2 listings etc... The day I let any client DICTATE how I do my job, I will find another one. Interesting that those that chose to work for these folks in my market are doing it for less than $200. Keep it up idiots.
