Wow, emails spelling out the scheme to get the value higher, requests for the appraisers name so the order can be canceled and sent to a "pet" appraiser.

As this stuff comes to light, it needs to be broadcast on EVERY news channel and in EVERY news paper.

The public has a right to know that their lenders have taken advantage of them. Of course some people know the values were high but went along with it to get more money from their loan.

Looks like eAppraiseit is about to get Humble Pie in the face.

This'll be great ammo for Pam's defense! :clapping:

I seem to remember someone at this forum saying that Pam Crowley's lawsuit was based upon undocumented hearsay. I can't quite remember who that person, or persons was/were.

Do you think Mr. Cuomo filed this suit based on undocumented hearsay? And what's to say Mr. Cuomo isn't using Pam Crowley evidence?

/I'll hang up and take your answer off the air...

I don't think that the issue is one of individual appraisal pressure to increase values; just those appraisers that routinely "ignore" the "value needed, estimated value, etc" are never given any more work. Those that cooperated by meeting a target value were rewarded with continued employment. The rest of us were left high and dry.

Or they bury you with nothing but review assignments.

It makes me wonder how they were able to assemble a panel of value-hitters. Did they come up with a scoring system for appraisers? Maybe they let the WAMU people pick their favorites?

Hmmm....

I seem to remember that as well. Wonder what that person will say regarding this...

I really do hope this all comes out in the wash; and yes, they do apparently have a "scoring system" for those appraisers that "cooperate" where values are concerned. From the information available now, they have made a corporate decision to only work with appraisers they can trust to make the value they need to line their own pockets.

I may be mistaken, as I often am, but I think that was Brad Ellis and Rich Heyn. I know for a fact that Mr. Heyn was looking for Pam's evidence, at least based on the two personal phone calls from him to me DEMANDING that I provide HIM with anything I had.

I think Mr. Ellis' posts on this Forum suggesting Pam's evidence was all hearsay, AT BEST.

Yes, I'm curious to hear from them as well.

Looks like those chopers are coming in fast and furious.

Yes!!!!! You have made my day. Finally the light switch has been turned on ( I hope ). "AMC" - I hope we see the end of the acronym!
