Pro Bono are for mostly people who are low income and who are fighting say land lord issues or small claims types of incidents. Never heard of any taking defense cases for appraisers who are licensed and certified professionals. Anything is possible but I would not hold my breath. Some retired lawyers do pro bono work check with the local bar association
Your E&O most likely has an Attorney who is well versed on real Property Appraisals. So if this legal Advice your seeking and is related to your Appraisal Practice aka an assignment? It's very important to contact them asap. What ever problem it is keep your mouth shut let that person do all the talking.
Didn't think about that.OP - Hello, thank you for all your advice. It is not for me, for an appraiser that does not have insurance, and for a private report.
Oooops, why would anyone think because they are doing "private work", they don't need E&O Insurance????
