Oil & The Economy

China kept our rates low.
Do you really want to be owned by China?
While waiting to charge my Tesla at the supercharger station, I saw an EV Ford 150. I didn't know American cars had such large EV vehicles. Good trend to go EV.
Tow range is about 80 miles or less... What good is a truck that cannot get me to the lake and back?

Higher prices coming to California

The vote would amend the state’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard, a program that began back in 2011 with the aim of incentivizing fuel producers to make lower-emission products by creating a carbon credit marketplace worth some $2 billion.
However, the cleaner fuels have turned out to be more expensive, eventually sparking outrage among Californians who already struggle with the highest gasoline prices in the country. Republicans in the state Legislature have called for a delay in the standards revision citing the higher prices, and their fellow party members in the House of Representatives have issued their own call for a delay.

California is trending towards the right and may start to rush towards Republicans if gas goes up another $.50 a gallon.

The companies are now recognizing that the hybrid is a much much better option.
Hybrids were the most logical means of transition. But you can't expect logic coming from those that don't have a clue to begin with.

Hybrids have issues. More things to go wrong...and they do. Still stuck with a dead very expensive battery at the end. Resell that.

You seem to have a dislike for EVs.
What's your problem. You have a smog test company and eventually you be out of business?
