Partially Above Ground Pool

Seen 'em, rocky ground here. cemented in place same as in ground, Basically some contributing value here.
This one is about two feet above ground

Don't know your area, Pool Company's offer plenty of Information on pools; in my area some above ground pools length determines above or inground factors by Code. If the pool length requires a center drain, code may indicate in ground/above ground location.
That said, maybe a contributing factor is applied OR not; it depends.

this is what most of them look like around here. sometimes they have partial decks around them as well.
