Why is it necessary to specifiy covered versus uncovered decks and patios for FHA? Indicating that a patio/deck is on the sketch should just mean that it is uncovered in my opinion. Calling it uncovered seems stupid. I would not call a swimming pool an uncovered swimming pool if there was no covering so why am I being asked to call a patio or a deck uncovered? When it is covered I can see calling it covered but when it is not covered this seems very petty to call it uncovered. Does anyone understand why this is necessary? I know it is required but it really bugs me.
