I sent in my paper application to be placed on the FHA roster back in March. You have to check the roster on a regular basis to see if you have been added. It has been about 3 months and have still not been added. I have also applied using the new electronic application a couple of weeks ago but still no approval.
I have not received a denial letter and am in good standing.
Is anyone formilliar with this??

Just go to the on line application on HUD's web site.

If they haven't processed your paper ap. by now, I'd put money on it being gone. :new_beammeup::new_alien::new_beammeup::new_alien:

I too submitted an application during the first week of March and have not heard anything either. I sent an email and received a canned email back. Their email also included a phone number if one had further questions (202) 402-2041. I called that but you are forced to leave a message. I'm going to wait another week and then reapply on line as I suspect my application fell through the cracks.

Thanks Judy. I think we are in the same boat!

Good luck to you.

I doubt anything feel through the cracks, more likely they're overwhelmed.

Slightly tangent topic:

Last cycle when we updated our FHA status we faxed our renewed license to them. Is that still the procedure? And does anyone happen to have that fax number?

There is a number for appraisers to call FHA. Look around the pages for the roster. You'll get exactly 14 seconds to leave a message. Good luck! Oh, and I never received a call back. However, it took 4 months for me to be placed on the roster.

I submitted mine online last week. With the new "no test" ap, I'll wait a couple months before I follow-up.

I took the test last Oct and as of April no show. I applied again May 12 online but still no word. This screw up by them has cost my business a lot of money. I have contacted my congressman about it today.

I applied the end of February. Still not on roster and no letter. Contacting congressman is an idea.
