The Republican claim is highly misleading.

The Democratic bill would not change existing law barring people who are in the U.S. illegally from getting federal health care coverage.

So if illegals can't get federally paid for health care (which is a lie since Medicaid pays for their emergency room visits) Why are the Dems wanting to reverse the Medicaid policies put in place by the BBB. BTW who is paying for their health care. At least 20M illegals in the country and I guess they never get sick or need medical care.

They estimated that in 2019 there were 11M-12M in the country. Which is the number they had been using for at least the previous 10 years. Even if you go with the conservative estimate of how many Biden left in. You get about 20M. How could they be getting health care through their employer. If they are here illegally they don't have work permits. As far as paying out of pocket. What jobs do they have that would allow them to afford that. From what we are supposed to believe, they all work in the low paying jobs that Americans won't take.

Hospitals take the loss on emergency room visits. Not just illegals but all Americans. Where did you hear Medicaid pays?

If you work for McDonalds or Walmart, I doubt they get health benefits from their employers. Our government pays for their health care.

I probably went to the doctor less than 20 times before I was 60 while paying well over $1200 a month from 55-60. After 60, Doctors find out you have insurance and you need to have checkup, this shot, this procedure (colonoscopy, etc) on an endless merry-go-round of specialists and over 60 requirements.

Expect health premiums to increase next year. With equipment and products mostly made overseas and tariffs on drugs, hospitals will have to pay more.
And if less customers from Obamacare, existing consumers will have to make up for the difference in lost revenue.
For old people after reaching 65, Medicare is the cheap option. For the younger ones, they have to pay high premiums.
That's the way it is with high Union labor costs and high expectation of care with more tests wanted by patients in our litigious society.

California used those funds to the tune of $8.9 billion last year to fund illegal immigrants medical care. That's what I call misleading.
