Racial Bias Claims Without Proof or Logic

what i do notice is that all the accusations were not brought up the previous 8 years. did they just become awoke?

When I 1st joined the AF back in 2014....
I read a number of posts from AF members pushing back by saying the same thing about the past 8 years (2001-2009)....
I paraphrase....
"When are you going to stop blaming "X" (I employ the letter "X" so I don't offend some members' sensibilities) for the ways things are today"; "stop playing the blame game and stop being the victim"; "who says life is fair"????
But not to worry....
I'm not above doing the same should the tables turn....

The Virus does not infect if you declare yourself to be a Social Warrior or a BLM Protestor. To all you other folk's follow the science, or face jail time or a $1,000 citation or both. Then get prepared to be lectured by some old white guy siiting in his East or Left Coast Artists Loft : )

Last week I completed a mandatory annual seminar on-line. Its mandatory if I want to continue doing work for FNMA. Why not, it would not be smart not to do it, especially since FNMA pays so well and the Engagement Letter is so clear and concise. FNMA does not act like an AMC, they don't use a checklist to bludgeon you with etc
Definition:
Overt Discrimination, which occurs when a consumer is openly and/or actively discriminated against on a prohibited basis factor. Disparate Treatment, which occurs when members of a prohibited basis group are treated differently than others.
I learned a new word! "Disparate"...well I did not just learn it, but I learned how it is used in this Critical Race Theory nonsense. It is "Disparate Treatment" Example is a RE Agent has a White Couple and a Black Couple both wanting to buy a house. The disparity is the Agent takes the White people to a White Hood and the Black couple to a predominately Black Hood. Where that falls apart is Good Agents Qualify ALL Buyers. You know the process. It almost always initially based on Income/ability to buy. Thats fundamental. We also know agents will sell you the most expensive house they can because of commission. Where disparate treatment comes into play is the Agent may work harder for the wealthier buyer than the less wealthy buyer. Again, its not got anything to do with Race. Probability begins to come in to play. Who is most likely to be able to buy the Expensive House? White People! Why? They are the Largest Group(Dominate Race).
One last Example of Disparate Treatment. you have an investor. The investor owns two identical Apartment Buildings. One in the Hood and one in a much more Wealthy/White area. The one in the Hood has a considerable amount of deferred maintenance and the one in the wealthy area has very little deferred Maintenance. The Investor uses the same Property Management company for both Apartment Buildings. The Property Management company responds faster for a Maintenance call from a Tenant in the wealthy area(predominately white) and less urgency for the other(predominately Black).
I did not say anything above that you did not already know! We have been drug unwillingly into decades of agenda driven Poor Government Social Policy. I won't comment anymore about this because I can only be responsible for my own actions. Same goes for you.

The one where 40% of Americans want to re-elect an obvious white supremacist as President.
I'm sure that vast majority of appraisers take the USPAP ethics seriously, but it would be naive to think there are not racists in this profession who don't and decide to stick it to Black people when they can.

Its obvious you don't live on a mixed race community, because if you did you did you would see racism runs across lots of different lines, and as far as White Supremacists I am Jewish and never been hassled by any Nazi-or white supremacists, in fact in many areas I work whites are a minority. You have been watching to many talking heads who are trying to create a race war . In my area where the real racism exists is between the Latino and Blacks, especially the gangs and the blacks don't go near-some of the Asian communities. My best laughs have been when i was working CPT and I knocked on a door and the man opened it and said YOUR White ! I laughed and said yes and you are black and is it okay to do your appraisal ? He responded with yes come on in. Before I left I asked him why he cared if I was white ? he responded with well because, my neighborhood is being taken over by Latinos and we don't like them and they don't like us, so if you would have been Mexican I would told you to go home. About 6 months later i was on the other side of CPT in the mostly Latino area and I arrived and knocked on the door, the HO opened the door and said you are white ? I said yes last time I checked , is that okay ? He responded with yes no problem, but they had sent a black appraiser out here a few years ago and I told him to get off my property. I responded with man race relations between Latinos and Blacks is pretty bad around here , but I guess you have no problems with whites. he laughed and said no, but we want those other people to stay on their side of the City.
There Ya go racism is actually bigger in some minority communities than in white communities, it's they are more open and honest about it, where whites have been told they are racist and now we just ignore the non-sense. The truth is the biggest racists are White Social Warriors who are using a cause to raise money by using the people they say they are trying to protect and race relations is now a big money industry.
