I did read the whole thread. Before posting. I'm glad the situation was resolved. However, just because you fired your loan officer and have moved on (which included the appraiser being paid apparently), doesn't mean you took the advice you were given to heart.

I really think you would benefit (assuming you are still planning on getting in to the field) by sitting back and reading this thread as if you were not the original author. You really need to come to an understanding of what an appraisal is and what the appraiser's role is.

Take it or leave it. :shrug:
 
Read thread number 19. That's the end of this thread for me. And the docotors scenerio doesn't have a thing to do with this situation. I can make up a whole lot of scenerio's that would prove my point. It's all in how you want to view it. In this case, I am the consumer not the appraiser. And like I said before, you cant just go around taking people's money. Especially in CA!! Now that I understand the rules of engagement. I know that it wasn't on the appraiser. It's on the loan officer. Please read the entire thread before giving advice.
