I investigate mortgage appraisal fraud for one of the top ten financial institutions.

The cases are referred to me from various sources within our company. It could be referred to me from loan origination underwriting, HVCC compliance, quality control, FNMA repurchase or mortgage insurance rescission departments.

These departments have to be able to show a significant variance in the appraised value to have an investigation of the appraiser opened.

Is this Bill Lane of Teacher's Insurance? Some of the names being hit with revocation just amaze me.
