its not the 45000 number that makes it recent, its the last 6 digits. 45000xxxxxx
an appraiser from the early 80's can have a 45000 number

Licensing didn't come into affect until the early 90s. That guys number is fairly recent. The older folks typically have a 4 digit number at the end of the 4500000xxxx.

The "45344" indicates that the appraiser has been certified in the past few years. If the number is less that "10000" or so (don't know what the cutoff is), the appraiser has been certified since licensing was instituted in NY.

Hey, it happens....I got my cert in 02/03 shrug and his # is 1,000 over mine...

The blue highlite is Mike's count of how many (new) for the year....be thankful it is not in green...
