I wonder how long it will take to run through all the fraud and idiocy of the "boom years" and sort out the bad actor in the appraising industry. It seems, based on this thread, that things may be slowing down... I truly hope not. From both a good citizen for society and a good appraiser/good business point of view it needs to happen.
 
I think if anything revocations, suspensions and voluntary surrenders are up considerably over prior years.
