Switching Away From Bradford Technologies (clickforms) Bad Service

Had a phone conversation with Mr. Beckham regarding my last post, specifically the search for an appraiser on Appraisal World's first page. It seems a part of being included in the search is my responsibility, which I will be addressing in the next week or so and getting my resume updated. I appreciate the opportunity to talk with Mr. Beckham and his insight into getting the correct information into their search engine. As I was typing this...got a call from Bradford. Situation corrected. Thank you for responding quickly. Many companies might not be as responsive. Very impressed. Now......just fix the phone system. Thanks again.

If you do switch plan on canceling your credit card if you're on auto pay, they will not stop hitting your card.

They aren't the biggest software company, but I've used SFREP for over 30 years. Customer service is superb. You get someone right away, they 'go meeting' your machine to see what your doing, and they figure out the problem. And they are friendly.

I did not switch because Clickforms was right on top of it and responded to my concerns but.....your comment about a company "hitting" your credit card is spot on. This is exactly why I do not allow any company to take automatic payments from any of my credit cards or checking accounts. If a company (any company) from a television provider to a car loan to anything in between does not allow me to write them a check monthly I will not do business with them. I was a banker for many years and the horror stories I have seen of allowing automatic debits still resonates inside my thoughts. I know online banking and automatic payments are the way of the world but they can count me out. I just don't want to give companies Carte Blanche over my credit card and checking accounts.

Over a decade with CF, I never provided them a CC # for auto pay. I call once per year and make a one-time payment.

Same here. That's another reason I've stayed with them.

Bradford - Bah.
Used them continuously for over 15 years, IIRC, and paid maintenance to "Keep Software up to date".
When the UAD came in, Bradford did not make good; kindly send them more $$$ to keep software up to date.
With Friends and Partners like that, I don't need any enemies. Trustworthy as a nest of vipers.
Will not deal with them again, and will take the opportunity to slam them each and every chance I get.

Word to the Wise:
...... Listen to what people and companies have to SAY, then pay close attention to what they DO.

A few years ago I switched to $49 per month membership, IIRC it included all of the plugins, etc.
