TAF...The Ministry of Dependence

It's not the role of TAF to oversee any aspects of what government does. Their role is more similar to being advisory in nature and is subject to Congressional revocation at any time. Who knows? Maybe a year from now Congress will designate the Appraisal Institute as the source for appraisal standards and appraiser qualifications. Then you can complain about them.

TAF can't even write standards correctly now...ask relman or ansi :ROFLMAO:

Let me call Joan. She won't answer. It is love hate relationship we have. That is why I couldn't vote for Marsha Blacburn in TN. I emailed her on appraisal issues and she would not respond. I know the Secretary of State well.

I know where your OP was focused on appraisal independence. I know you.

I can read very clearly the relationship with SOW rule.

Joan, where are you baby? I miss you bad. Does CFPB have you a little gun shy?

Figuratively speaking.

I have a feeling CFPB is like a hunting hound is on the trail for a prey that knows they are in trouble.

What is fair for the goose is fair for the gander. CFPB is no joke. Just google them Joan.

No peeing in the bushes.

CFPB won't touch favoring appraisers. They will go for the jugular on non separation of fees on truth in lending disclosures to the borrower.

The consumer.

Your missing the point on separation of fees between appraisal management companies and appraisers. CFPB can do that.

CFPB has authority over HUD, GSEs, ABA, whoever.

The truth in lending disclosures go to the consumer.
