I thought I was the only "crazy lady" who brings her Aussie shepard on appraisals. I'm so glad I have company.

I have a mini aussiewho loves to do inspection on empty foreclosed FHA assignments.

She usually likes to check every room for me then it gets a little weird.........

Ruff, Ruff, Ruff! What is it Maddie? Ruff-Ruff! The toilets are not in working order? Ruff, Ruff, Ruff! The roof needs to be replaced and there are high tension wires in the fall line? Ruff, Ruff, Ruff! Oh, you noticed the paint is chipping and it's pre 1978? Thanks girl, heres a dog bisquit

Ruff, Ruff, Timmy's trapped in the well.

I have been working on teaching my dog to hold down the tape measure!!!!! Maybe I can write off all of his vet bills as a business expense!!!

One of my favorite The Far Side cartoons depicts a dog chasing a car "Ruff!! Ruff!! Ruff!!"

In the next frame, translated into English, "Hey!! Hey!! Hey!!" :D

Ruff Ruff Ruff I Bark In All Caps

I have a 60 lb mixed breed dog that I take with me when I go into high crime areas. Baby would not bite a flea and thinks that she is a cat (she was raised with three cats); however, she does bark and she is a big girl! I have been told more than once that I do not need any more protection than her. Looks can be deceiving!

While I agree that a dog can be good protection when properly trained, I would rather not take mine with for fear that something bad might happen.

Hey man, I love ewe. :new_all_coholic:

Ok, unprofessional or impolite, take your pick. Either way, leave 'em at home.

A little off topic but I am also of the opinion that animals do not belong in the house. Unfortunately, I have a fffrrrickkin cat in the office right now! m2: Her staff isn't here so she thinks I will provide her some company. Wrong!

Anyone want a cat? :icon_mrgreen:

I have three cats and they are great company at 2:00 am when I am sleepy and need to meet a deadline.

I do not let my dog out of the car, I leave the windows cracked and the car in the shade; moreover, I do not take her on hot days. The point of presence is really what I am striving for, I hope that if someone with bad intentions walks by, they will have second thoughts when they see her in the car.

You leave your dog locked up in a car?

"On a warm, sunny day windows collect light, trapping heat inside the vehicle, and pushing the temperature inside to dangerous levels. On an 85-degree Fahrenheit day, for example, the temperature inside a car with the windows opened slightly can reach 102 degrees within ten minutes. After 30 minutes, the temperature will reach 120 degrees. At 110 degrees, pets are in danger of heatstroke. On hot and humid days, the temperature in a car parked in direct sunlight can rise more than 30 degrees per minute, and quickly become lethal."

Yeah, well, this person would have the thought that smashing your window to release a suffering dog and having you arrested for animal abuse; it would not even be my second thought, it would be my first thought. And action. And I would. And I hope someone does if you pull that stunt, missy.

Get a stinkin' gun if you need protection, or pepper spray.
