The Appraisal Subcommittee Busted

Is he saying for appraisers to stop taking orders from AMCs? He sure beats around the bush, not really saying much.

I do smell CFPB jumping in this mud pit. None of them want to mess with CFPB. I smell change coming. Name the entity.

I will take position they don't want to mess with CFPB. Name the entity. I will argue.

A house divided against itself will fall.

Those racial bias hearings were inclination that Chopra is on the hunt. He was nice to Jonathan Miller (independent fee appraiser).

He has bigger targets in his sights.

What's especially interesting is that I attended the first CLEAR meeting. When the zoom went live, I was the only one in attendance and looked around the room and thought what the heck - this is a unique opportunity. I explained the barrier to entry, licensing, and APA violations, and how Mr. Park wouldn't address the matter but said something was coming along the same lines that would help us. That something was PAVE.

I explained how the ASC neglected their duties. The ASC attorney repeated my statement and I confirmed. She resigned a few weeks later and I never heard from CLEAR again.

The corruption of TAF and the ASC can’t be hidden any longer ;it’s all out in the open.

same old same old...cheap and fast :rof::rof::rof:
That's so cute. They have no idea how much of the public information is flat out wrong. My rural assignments where reappraisal is on a 6 year cycle, half the time improvements are not picked up for years, mapping doesn't match legal, etc. even with the State's oversight review, especially if the Assessor is trying to get re-elected.

At the expo, I was talking to some FNMA rep at their booth. They were talking about the errors that they continuously see on appraisals. I asked how these errors got past their middleman AMC so often? They didn’t talk to me after that anymore.
Don't ever enter any of the raffles they have at those booths!

Wish I would have been siitting beside you. We would have been good together.

Speakers may have left the room.

Were there any refreshments in the room? We could have ordered some. LOL

What happens at the booth's raffles? Do they put a roofie in your drink and then you wake up at some AMC's headquarters?

They get your name, phone number, and email and you start receiving all kinds of "opportunities" to be on AMC Approved Appraiser lists that I guess some appraisers must want to be on and even purchase lists of AMCs to apply to. You'll be blocking calls and cleaning out your email for years afterward if you want nothing to do with them. It's annoying.
