Asked if he sees a case for further stimulus, Harker replied “No. Not right now.”

“The labor markets are strong, inflation is moving up slowly — but with the last CPI print, it was a good print,” he said.

Following Harker’s comments, the bond market’s main yield curve inverted for the third time in less than two weeks. The yield on the 2-year Treasury was at 1.601% while the 10-year yield was below at 1.597%.

Harker was not the only central banker commenting on the level of interest rates Thursday morning. Bonds ticked up after Kansas City Fed President Esther George said the July rate cut was not “necessary.

4. Scientists just discovered why Greenland glaciers are melting so fast, - because the ocean water underneath is getting so warm. If they all melt, that raises seal levels up to 22 feet. As soon as it goes up just another foot or so - you can be sure the brakes will be put on coal and gas - and that's not going to be pretty.

And the USGS says:

Unlike the hot springs of Iceland, the hot springs in Greenland are not due to volcanic activity. It appears that the water is heated by deep layers in the earth's crust rubbing against each other. I'm sure the worldwide club of "Viewed icebergs while sitting in hot springs" is very small.

Not oil, gas, global warming hot air.

Coal, oil, and gas do not move the earth's crust.

It is amazing that a thread about economics so quickly turns to something completely off topic. Multiple posts have been deleted from this thread.
So why did my post get deleted when you literally just said the same thing?

The government bond rally is not a bubble but an appropriate reaction to the market discounting the next recession hitting the global economy from all over leveraged corners of the world. Low core inflation is a reflection over capacity and falling demand. The bubble is in corporate equities and corporate bonds.

For over a decade, even a modest market correction has lead to central banks immediately jawboning stocks higher and/or cutting rates and launching QE. We will see if the FED responds to future weakness.

Post the same thing in a different thread under a new name like everyone seems to be doing lately.

You post quoted something that might have made someone think in a different direction--totally wrong ideology that doesn't jive with the general tenor of this forum.
