“The Secretary’s action undermines our sovereignty and self-determination,” Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren said in a statement when the tribe’s concerns were apparently ignored. Nygren said the decision jeopardizes the tribe’s future economic opportunities and puts 5,600 Navajo owners of land allotments in “dire financial constraints.”

The TVA wants you to turn the thermostat down and conserve electricity. And we're supposed to all be driving EVs by 2035? We need nukes and lots of them to add sufficient capacity to the grid in addition to fortifying the grid to simply keep up with demand, let alone replace all the coal and gas fired plants. Biden's energy plans are insensible. And by the way... Oil prices are increasing as the greenies won a major victory in Norway, killing 3 projects for a time, the Houthis are impacting the supply chain and oil prices with attacks. Pakistan and Iran are now fighting. What else is going to go wrong?

Well, Navajo Nation is "elsewhere" for sure. But the world leaders who are trying to tax agriculture out of existence over "climate change" are willing to starve people virtue signaling nonsense. German farmers have had it with the situation. They are fighting back, same with French and Dutch farmers. The Davos insanity needs to be curbed and WEF needs to be outlawed.

They are great...when the work. My mechanical one has worked for 32 years. Same with washing machines. All are now electronic not a mechanical reliable timer. Same with dishwashers. So now your 20-25 year washer lasts maybe 10...of course, the wifey wants a new one every 5 anyway just to keep in style.
Terrel, how many times have I told you it doesn't have to make sense?
Is it really an attempt to starve people, or consolidate farmland in the "right" hands?

If "climate change" is a settled science, why this? The fact is climate is not settled science, rather it is a complex system and is subject to huge guesstimates by people who are making money off the "science" they market. They cannot consistently show that anything is actually warming or cooling based upon a hodge-podge of heat island-impacted meteorlogical stations - 80% of which are in N. America and only a handful in the 2/3rds the world covered by oceans. And the satellites are not reflecting the same changes that the surface stations imply. Smoke and mirrors.

Britain’s climate watchdog has privately admitted that a number of its key net zero recommendations may have relied on insufficient data, it has been claimed.
Sir Chris Llewellyn Smith, who led a recent Royal Society study on future energy supply, said that the Climate Change Committee only “looked at a single year” of data showing the number of windy days in a year when it made pronouncements on the extent to which the UK could rely on wind and solar farms to meet net zero.
