Rep. Horsford reintroduces bill to eliminate taxes on tips, subminimum wages​

Rep. Steven Horsford (D-Nev.) plans to reintroduce the Tipped Income Protection and Support (TIPS) Act. The legislation would end income tax on tips and eliminate the subminimum wage of $2.13 per hour.

Rep. Horsford was joined by other Democratic lawmakers, as well as tipped workers and members of the nonprofit organization, One Fair Wage, outside of the Capitol on Thursday.

Johnny Carson was still on in the 1980's. Late night TV has never been the same since. I know Fernando is not North American Native, but his speaking patterns are the same as Tonto. Also, I loved Tonto he was the unsung hero of the Lone Ranger. Fernando, not so much. But, I read his posts in Tonto's voice and it makes it entertaining at least.
