Well after many hours of studying and 4 hours later of taking the state level exam, I didn't pass -- That was a tough test-- with 1 or 2 of the answers being correct in my opinion. My weakness was USPAP and Sales Comparaison Approach (that one shocked me). So close to passing too! -- well back to the study guides and reschedule for the next test date. Argh.

Any study hints? pass 'em on. Thanks.

compucram, learnappraising, USPAP book-- reviewed all my text books. Missed passing by 5 points. argh

I personally like the Hondros material, flash cards, CD Rom ,etc. When I teach the exam prep class that is the material I use.

What stuff were you weak on specifically on the SC and USPAP?

Update: Took the exam today -- PASSED! whew.. 5 hours and 15 mins.. I feel dazed and confused not sure what to do next. heh. I guess tuck my hemroids back up and get on with the program -- !! It's official.. state lic. now.

thanks! now that sounds fun -- the river be 3 blocks from my house!:clapping:

thanks liz -- my suggestion is purchase "Dictionary of Real Estate Terms" -- My test had a lot of sales comparsion approach, income approach and cost approach.. oh.. well that's just about everything isn't it? Not to mention know your USPAP! Cover all your bases.. they throw trick questions out there.. I don't think I am helping much.. argh. Know your HP12c calc. -- some sinking funds, FV, PV --

Good Luck!
