Wow. That striat up blows me away. I took the Certified exam a few months ago (03/08) and I was not even allowed to use the HP12C when I took the exam. All they supplied me with was a standard calculator.

Yikes, that scares me. My Certified Residential exam is this Wednesday in California with AMP (Applied Measurement Professionals). They say you can use a "financial calculator" as long as it isn't programmable. I've got an HP 12c... is that considered programmable? I've heard there is a ton of math on my exam type so I hope they don't take the 12c. Probably best to give AMP a ring.

The proctor took my HPc and pushed a bunch of buttons to clear all the programming... I didn't know how to do it -- so I guess I had a lot of formulas stored.. heh.. NOT! m2:
