EDIT: Nevermind. I misread it. Good luck jtengland.

Huh, also interesting. Pearson VUE used to provide the tests for California, but it's now AMP as of July 1st.

It's like the three-card monte of testing companies. Go on, find the queen!

Thanks for the well wishing, blueprint!

Yea I am really wondering how different the exam I took in March is from the one freindbrook just took and the one you about to take. It's really odd that I could not have a financial calculator yet you guys can? Makes me wonder if that many peeps were failing or if they have included more complex math questions. I though the exams were supposed to be pretty universal across the country?

A financial caluculator is allowed but must be cleared of all memory in front of the proctor. If they didn't allow you to use it...they were probably wrong in doing so.

At the end of the exam -- you are asked to answer a survey.. one of the questions asked.. Did the proctor take your calculators and clear the memory? I answered yes to everything due to the fact that my heart was in my mouth waiting to get my exam results... I couldn't tell you anyother of the questions asked on the survey.

Good Luck jtengland!

If anyone is having any problems with PSI Testing Services or their staff, would you please let me know. I need specific site, date and time.

Not any major issues, just would be nice to have a bottle of water to drink while taking the exam -- nerves can dry out the mouth. I understand the liability of tipping the water over onto the keyboard could cause some "smoke" -- maybe some chairside holders -- ????

that was my major concern -- otherwise, staff was very friendly and supportive!

**wipes sweat from brow and pops open a beer**

I passed the Certified Residential Exam not an hour ago!!

A big thanks to everyone who helped me out!

AMP allowed my 12c but took my water. Oh well. They didn't look at my calculator or clear the memory though... I could have hid 640 and 43,560 in there ;) j/k
