UAD 3.6 discussion

I have actually started using a similar AI tool for charting. It's pretty impressive. Love George Dell, and I really liked his Stats & Graphs class (which is really an intro to R and R-Studio), but AI has already made his class obsolete. Crazy how fast this landscape is changing.

Yeah. I signed up for the AI's class on AI. During the presentation he mentioned that he started putting together the course in May, and since then more than half of his slides are already outdated.

Not sure if you've tried running Perplexity in its new Comet browser, it's a leap forward.

Haven't. I use formulabot and rows for spreadsheet analysis and claude Sonnet for everyday stuff. Will have to try perplexity.

I get the sense that the new form is pushing me to use AI more to present more information than needed. I'll have to adapt like appraisers usually do.

I see lots of fancy charts and graphs that are very well done.

I also see some where it is very evident that the person who put them in the report had no idea what they were doing.

There is no assumption that charts and graphs are inherently better. On the other hand, there is an assumption that for reports with no data and analysis at all (even though it has now been required for more than six months), there probably was no data and no analysis.
When I see an overabundance of graphs or some long CV attached, typically its to hide how bad the report is in my experience.
