You are disgusting- To Bring My Dead Father and Dead Uncle Billy into this.

I bet he has sold a house in that time frame. He may be rich now. May not have to work. Many old timers didn't carry much life insurance. They could have been wealthy for all I know. I know he has to miss them.

Wait, Zoes a he? Im very confused and why does his/her posts recently look/sound like Ferdinands? Things I wonder about..

I now still have over 15 residential properties and two commercial strip centers to manage..
It appears that Glen was born with a golden spoon in his mouth.

Maybe Zoe who lives and works the City can update us on what he is seeing. If the data I am looking at is wrong I have no problem deferring to someone who lives and works there..But I was not referring to VA assignments but to overall sales and how prices are doing
Note the title of the original post, VA appraisal slowdown. You are not on the VA panel.

That is Glen's post in the Egress Window thread (see #27) :mad2: Could he possibly be misleading or losing it? No, not Glen.
He said he "kicked VA to the curb long ago" back before the fees increased and everybody was complaining. I had no idea you could just stay off the panel for a year and get right back on it. Glenn must be special. Multiple posts say he "used to be on the VA panel". Maybe he is losing it.

Back to the ranch - All appraisal assignments are slower than they were. Whether that's good or bad, depends on your business model in the past and how it is panning out today.

VA business has always been a little fickle. For those who only rely on a sole source of assignments to feed their families, preparations for a different volume in the coming months might be in order.

Yep. And more VA news:

Bolding mine:
"VA is also currently reviewing our appraisal fees and turn-times. During the COVID-19 national emergency, we had to address VA appraisal fees comparative to conventional and FHA markets, and the volatility of those rising fees has subdued somewhat. Turn-times are also significantly reduced as well.

VA stepped up its fees during the COVID-19 low interest rate environment. Now that the market has begun to cool down, those fees may not stay at that rate...."

Well, all I have to say about that is they will have to leave the fees where they are or allow higher fees for complex appraisals with acreage, Barndominiums, multiple houses, etc. There won't be desktops on unconventional home styles. I've had 2 custom built Barndominiums in the past week, 40 acres and 60 acres, Dale, you can guess which county, lol
