You aren't even close to being a member of Mensa.

If you have a degree in math, how did you calculate that I make 50 posts a day? I guess it's the simple math that messes you up?

I have a degree in math from a major university. I am a member of Mensa, that means that my IQ is in the top 2%. And I Earned less than a thousand dollars last year. Not because I don't have every bit as much ability or talent as any of you but because I know of which I speak regarding the economy. I have put in 60 hour weeks for months on end trying to create a business. I don't feel entitled to anything. I earn every penny I make as I'm sure you do to. But times have changed, and you need to adjust. My job went away and now I'm trying to build something new.

If you want a better analogy with regard to careers think about Realtors. How many of them are still making as good a living as they were 4 years ago.

The appraisal business is being buoyed by the refinancing of people in dire straights. If you think that you making those inflated fees off of people who are trying to avoid bankruptcy is right, I can't stand with you. I'm not saying that AMC's are right to keep 40% of the fee, I'm saying that the fee that is charged the person making the loan needs to be dropped by 40%.

Sounds like you need to get a job and a life there genius. Maybe post over on the Mensa jobs wanted site.

a job

If I could get a job just by thinking that I'm entitled to it I would have had one long ago. This is an eat what you kill world.

God knows that I've tried looking for a job. By the way moderator who is insulting who now.

Why are you here? There has to be a Mensa meeting somewhere.

Well acting like you know all about a profession that you obviously know nothing about probably doesn't help the job search. I would hope you don't make the same kinds of erroneous assumptions during job interviews.

why

I'm here because I write software that can be used to help make appraisers do there job better. I'm trying to make your job easier and more efficient.

Then you can pass on some of those savings to the people taking out the loans who are trying to keep their heads above water.

You have to pay to advertise here. Guess they didn't mention that at the Mensa meetings.

Advertising

I haven't mentioned my product nor will I. When I advertise I pay for it. I'm having a theoretical discussion about the economics of the appraisal industry and yes what I do is designed to make the appraisal process more efficient.

There are many elements of the appraisal business that you know much better than I, but I do know some elements of the appraisal business better than you.
I won't go into what they are.

I'm wowed beyond belief. When you come down from the mountain, can you explain the meaning of life?

With an arrogant attitude like yours, I'm not interested in your software. I'll stick with companies that understand and respect appraisers such as A la mode.
