Yep I went almost totally blind in my left eye, three years ago as I have eye disease but I got extremely lucky and 70% came back. I had to wear a Black Pirates Eye Patch but the Yenta said it made me look meaner and people don't wan t to F- with a crazy guy with a eye patch.

I take eye vitamins. Hope I'm not wasting my money.

Had cataracts removed this year. Unbelievable how much brighter things look. Can drive at night now.

Yep wife and pop to a miracle. Back in the old days I remember so many people at 60 plus who were almost blind. The would surgically remove them but within a year or two they grew back. Those neat little lenses now in your eyes are great and a miracle.

I will most likley be totally blind by 75-80 years old , so I am learning to play the Piano and to sing, like Stevie Wonder.

Do you own a parrot?

I have the makings of those but not serious enough to correct...yet.

ophthalmologist Richard Gans, MD. “You can get the vitamins you need through your diet. And there is little evidence connecting vitamin supplements with improved eye health.”
There’s one exception for a specific eye condition: Age-related macular degeneration (AMD). If you have AMD, talk to your ophthalmologist about whether supplements are appropriate.

So that explains your hairy palms
