Vision problems that come with age

The VA did my cataract surgery for free. Problem I had was one of my eyes has a stigmatism. Surgery was a breeze. The 1st one no problem. then you have to wait a period of time before they will do the 2nd eye. Here was the big Problem. Right after the 1st eye we all got hit with the covid restrictions So I had to wait a little more than a year before they did the 2nd eye. Something real important is the after surgery eyedrops & creamy stuff is very important you follow those directions. It is to keep from getting an infection and helps with healing.

Piece of cake really!
Wow Uncle Billy-my father and my wife all had cats removed and it was a piece of cake. No infections, medication nothing. Each waited about 3 months between second eye and done.
I didnt even have that much problems with Glaluvoma Trab Surgery which is way more invasive then removing cataracts. About two weeks total recovery .

Anyway sorry to hear the nightmare you experienced as most Cats are fairly easy and fast recovery time. Hope the VA guy knows what the hell he is doing as my experience is some VA is good and others terable. My father and Billy quit using our VA out here and went to regular non-VA surgeons. O'well good luck but if those "halos" don't dissapear in another few months I would get a second opinion from another eye doctor just to be on the safe side.

I've still got 20/20 but my night vision is not optimal like it used to be, and I have no idea if it is correctable.

Probably not correctable, but I hear they now have Night Vision Non- Prescription that my neighbor swears by and they are less than $100 bucks. I don't drive at night anymore as I am done but also gives me more excuses to not go out and be around people I dont really want to see.
I have been told that ****** causes night blindness, so you may want to back off on that :)

Is that a pair of glasses? And my free testosterone is off the charts, so it could be!

I take eye vitamin pill. Hope it's not a waste of money.

I just ordered a pair of Nightbirds, made in US and ophthalmic grade lenses, 60 bucks. Thanks for the tip.

You may have misunderstood my post a little bit. The Delay was caused by the Covid restrictions . that was the reason., not the VA fault. Only elective surgery was cut off.
