A mid-priced home in suburban Cuyahoga County is now $245K, raising affordability concerns
CLEVELAND, Ohio - This won’t surprise those in the housing market of late, but the median price of a single-family home in suburban Cuyahoga County has reached nearly a quarter-million dollars.
This represents an increase of a whopping 58% since ahead of the pandemic, with a like increase - though at a smaller dollar amount - in the city of Cleveland.
The median price for suburban homes countywide from June through September surged to $245,000, cleveland.com found in analyzing county sales data from the same four months each year going back to 2019.
This is up from $225,000 a year ago, and up significantly from $155,000 ahead of the pandemic in 2019,
go ahead...call it a declining market
