Walgreens closing more stores in SF

It's just not homeless but "normal" people taking advantage of the shoplifting loophole.
The small business decided to take customer to small claims court because filing police report doesn't do anything.
They won but still took a loss especially still paying their attorney fees.
It's tough to do business in SF.

The way I would characterize it is that the publicly accepted point of balance between justice/mercy seems to vary by locale.

I was talking with a friend who lived on the other side of county. I was asking him about the shootings, killings, and such over there.
Where I live I don't experience such lawlessness. The police and law here are much "harder" for no good doers. Walgreens here open 24 hours with no problems.
It's like two different worlds but so close.

Shop lifters dont show up to small claims courts how you going to serve them and all that happens is they lose by default and you have a judgement thats not worth the paper its written on. Most in my area are part of shoplifting gangs who have it organized. As long as its under $900 bucks just a citation.

There will always be bad people taking advantage of the law.
Politicians not too smart when making these "equitable" laws, pandering to the people sense of moral at that time.
Citizens won't take it anymore and politicians will change the laws again.

Tonight in prime shopping center of SF, at least 12 criminals ran into Louis Vutton store and grabbed as many purses as they could and ran out.
Police came and stopped one car. These mass shopliftings are not uncommon.

I have friends with a jewelry store. Wife and her Mother run it. They were tied up and robbed. Now they have a buzzer to gain entry. They are just waiting for the lawsuit when they refuse entry to certain undesirables. They are easily identifiable on the North Shore where their store is located.
