I'm not talking bout fighting the lenders about C and R, I 'm talking about an on contingency basis ( free) class action lawyer if they see grounds of malfeasance to recover lost $ damages for past years to appraisers.

You could but you would have to go at it from a general public member or borrower. That’s where Louisiana is going.

The other alternative is unify and strike. Louisiana will do some damage. Already have.

Actually,

The lack of enforcement, between 4/1/2011 to 2015 might actually be on the table, if there is an attorney willing to take it up for appraisers.

No doubt. Need a highly skilled consumer protection lawyer with years of experience.

Civil penalties could come into play. Louisiana may get civil penalties before they are done.

Louisiana will likely collect civil penalties is what I mean.

In the long run it's pretty clear where Residential Appraisal is headed. OP is right, it ain't pretty.

We stopped on our road trip last week at McDonalds to tap a kidney and get a quick lunch. It was one of those new Kiosk stores.....this is McD's answer to the $15 minimum wage. .you'd be hard pressed to find 3 humans working in that place, and one of them was mopping up a spill. The Kiosk was a marvel of lights and buttons. But the dam thing got my order wrong. Whatever they thought they were saving in salaries, they lost on free refills at the drink station, as everyone in the store was filling containers to travel.

In the future, a borrower will go into a Mocket Rortgage storefront and enter a few digits. Out will come an Mestimate, complete with Drone Photos and Google Maps. If you don't like the Value....you can move along to the next kiosk.

Yeah but risk is shifting. It opens way more doors for appraisers. Poor comparison on your part but a little irony on how some perceive things.

I'm not familiar with that line of thinking, but if you guys can pull it off then you deserve the payout.
