....in the obvious, a son-in-law or healthy 6'2" son........and I am 6' plus a coupla hundred myself.....if closer examined, 12 guage pump with 00 holstered under umbrella on the right side.........best to all.......rs

There is a pepper spray used to defend against bear attacks. It sells for around $40.00, comes with a holster and has a 20' range. I bought mine at Gander Mountain.

Even if I could I would not carry a firearm. What if I responded with deadly force and plugged some poor wino because he surprised me, just not worth it. James is right, the important thing is to be smart and not to put yourself in a position where you would need a firearm. I leave that business to MOS.

I'm more concerned about protecting myself from filth, mold, fleas, germs, decomposing animals, splattered feces, spent hypos and rubbers and all the other fun stuff you find in a REO.

Ankle holstered Kel-Tec 32.License to carry in Kansas. Can you believe it's legal to defend yourself. The Bolsheviks missed This one...

What I can't believe is that apparently many appraisers are now doing these jobs for under 300 bucks. I have done a few where it really makes you stop and think, is this worth risking my life over a 350-400 dollar fee. I don't do REO anymore, the risks just aren't worth the small rewards.

Again, spoken like a true liberal...just because you have a gun doesn't mean you pull it out and run from room to room yelling CLEAR! like you see in the movies. Please explain how you could have a gun in your holster, and accidentally pull it out, point it at the person and shoot it before you could ascertain the threat level. Turn off the TV and join the rest of us in the real world.

I personally carry a Bersa .380. Very concealable and it has a built in disable feature that renders the gun useless unless you have the key.

Since I have two little ones at home, that was the key selling point.
