What is your costs for MLS?

$672 for NAR/State Realtor/Local board dues.
$168 a year for MLS.
$140 a year for a public records database.

There used to be 2 MLS providers in my area, one covering the northwest and another covering the rest of the state and NH, but they merged and now paying less than before.

Pricing seems to be all over the place. Is that for more than one? Individually I have to pay about $300 a year for NAR/State/Local dues. Roughly the same for annual dues to the MLS. We have no monthly dues and I am not required to have a lock box... They can open the place up if we need it. I have used a supra key exactly twice in 10 years. Many of the local brokers are turning them in and buying a simple combination lock box

But when I started 19 years ago we paid $10 for quarterly books as appraisers and had no annual dues. Monthly online was $5. That went to $10 a month. Then we went from a great system to a totally terrible system to a really bad system to a not very good system... That's progress I suppose but the info is so bad, I keep threatening to quit.

I do not rely upon MLS info for commercial, mineral, land or agricultural appraisals anyway. I search by on line county records then hunt for the actual owners or lenders.

My main SoCal MLS board is $426 per year, was about $1,000 to join. Also belong to Antelope Vally board and Ventura County with similar fees. Ventura County data is now included with SoCal, so no need to renew that one next time. :)

The SoCal MLS board rocks as far as usability. :clapping:

Do they have any appraiser related calc pages like for the 1004MC?

I am a member as a broker, so my fees are less than joining as an appraiser. But my fees for 2 of the biggest, that are co-ops, are $1,500 and $1,200/year. Others are small Realtor run MLS systems and are $25/month, plus annual Realtor dues.

I have no idea, but someone must, because I was just using it.

$1,500 a year for the Greater Fort Myers Bla, Bla, and the Beach MLS.

I just paid the bill 3 days ago... $306 for 12 months.

It covers all the areas I go to ( about 100 mile radius )

My board just switched alliances and providers and software from Tempo to Matrix. Supposedly when the dues come around they'll be lower. Meanwhile I have a learning curve, not that it's bad. I just didn't want one. :leeann:

Yeah, they do have a spreadsheet for the 1004MC.
