I really like my Olympus C-5060. It's not small, not cheap.
I'm a fan of the 27-110 mm extra-wide lens. It uses Compactflash AND Xd cards at the same time. Costs about $600. Takes great photos. It has more settings than I've learned. The battery is exclusive to the camera but has lasted three weeks using the camera every day.
You can move the display to any angle, even towards yourself. Kinda unnecessary but cool. The night setting has saved me on early morning or late evening comps on my way home from work when I'm doing those rural acreage difficult appraisals.
This is a great camera.
