Which one of our appraisal expenses should we cut?

I have not had a problem getting an appointment for pending properties through Centralized Showing for an appraisal inspection.

I love the Tempo upgrade because it's so much faster and shaves 30 minutes or more off the research time. :new_all_coholic:With the upgrade I can have a PDF with page one, page two, all photos, listing history and simple stats of all the possible comps in under five minutes.
(You might be overlooking some of the features Mr. Rex)

Gimme your address, I'm coming over for a Tempo lesson. The new system is way slower than the old one.

I switched to Vonage, and saved about $50.00 per month. All the features free. Good quality Etc etc.

I am thinking about shutting all my phones...not to save money. i am just sick of talking.

Back in April I did not renew my yearly membership with Alamode. I called them when my membership was expiring asking if they take monthly payments and they said no. I wasn't in a position to pay for it.

Last week I received an email from them saying they woule renew my silver membership for $199 instead of $349 and they would take another $20 off if I did over the internet.

I just switched to Alamodes draw program which is free. No more paying for the crappy Apex which doesnt work well on Windows Vista.

I traded in my Tahoe for a CRV, and I get double the gas mileage. I am more careful about accepting assignments in far flung locales. Especially when driving the comps takes longer than driving to the subject.

Our MLS changed and now each comp takes 3 pages, 4 if I print the property history. So that runs through more paper, toner, file space, etc. I am going through much more paper than ever. I just buy the cheapest stuff that will feed through my printer and fax.

Download a free pdf printer and print all your research to pdf. Then, if you actually need hard copy you can print it from the pdf at 2 pages per sheet. I've been doing that and it cuts way way down on print costs. Probably a 1/4 of the stuff never makes it to paper and of the stuff that does at least 1/2 of it is 2 sheets per page.

Not only is it more cumbersome, in my opinion, but you have to print every report on 2 pages (old system provided same info in a one page format) - MLS techs say they are working on it. The new system certainly won't win the Green award. I was much more efficient using the old system and I don't think I will get back up to speed with the new system until the 2 page problem is worked out. Up til now, I have been printing out the first page and hand-writing in necessary info from the second page. I can't stand flipping through 2 pages for one MLS property record.

Someone asked a while back about a motorcycle being an option. I ride a Harley Street Glide and use it often for inspections. Driving comps can be fun, trying to stop and take pictures on a relatively loud bike sometimes draws unwated attention. In my area, you have to plan the route well, do some research. The bike does not like dirt roads.

Someone taking photos on a motorcycle in some of the neighborhoods I go to will get you shot.Perhaps a bullet proof vest would be required..:new_2gunsfiring_v1:
