Since the AF is essentially social media, did you mean to ask which AF poster fires one up? Don't ask, not telling. :)
 
Fees. I can do something about fees. I can decide for myself if a fee is worth my time and expertise. If not, and the client won’t budge, I find another client.

I can’t do anything about public trust. I can only control how people see me.

Not asking anything about other members....

Maybe I should have asked which topic, Public Trust or Fees, seem to be more important to the overall AF membership....

I don't interpret Public Trust having anything to do with the general public's perception of appraisers....
It's more of a personal issue....
 
Fees. That’s because I don’t see the public having much mistrust of appraisers. Unless you know something I don’t know.
 
Fees, since without adequate fees to stay in business we ca not do any appraisals which can ( hopefully) protect the public trust. The only way appraisers protect the public trust is by doing quality, non biased appraisal and without adequate compensation
none of us can stay in business- so while the two are inter related, fees have to by necessity come first.
