In the office for a month, but the dizzying rate of changes makes it feel longer. It is not hard to foresee taht the mass firings will raise unemployment and ripple out in the economy as the services and contractors who serviced the will close or shrink and lay off their own staff, and that tariffs are result in retaliatory tariffs taht will raise prices. The stock market and confidence of consumers react even if the MAGA folk pretend it is all still Biden's fault.Umm - your initial post on this thread was denigrating others. I find it so interesting that - for both sides - folks fail to accept responsibility for getting into the mess and just throw blame on the 'next' person who takes the helm. If KH would have won, we'd be in EXACTLY the same place today (except for the fact that no government waste would have been cut). He's been in office 3 weeks. But somehow he's responsible for the disaster that Biden created. It's really hilarious how short sighted most folks are.
KH was a more stable person who believed in traditional govt and followed the law and constitution. Stability creates its own confidence. She also had concrete plans to increase home affordability and make more buyers eligible. DT is on a wrecking ball vengeance rampage, and the chaos and uncertainty rattle people and investors.
Change can be good but rapid and destructive change is disorienting and can be harmful. (Joe Biden was slowing down, but Trump looks and acts unhinged ). The reckless actions and threats are not mitigated even within his own party - which spooks normal people, including conservatives who are not MAGA.
