why so slow?

it is intermittent for me. mostly it loads fine but sometimes it does load slow or give an error.

I can echo the comments made about the slowness. Not a PC or internet issue for me, as I can load 5 other pages while waiting for this one to fully come up...

Agree something is up. Been especially slow the last week or so...which is why I checked this sub forum. It's the only site slow for me and the same on firefox, chrome and brave.

I have had no issues with the speed of loading pages. I have a very fast internet service (COMCAST.) 100.4 down and 11.5 up.

I got gigabit and it is slow. So it is definitely the site. It was a lot slower during the day than it is right now. Maybe it has something to do with amount of traffic on the site or something.

A lot of lurkers who don't have accounts or do not participate. Certain times of the day I image the traffic is heavy enough to overload the capacity of the servers.

Safari browser on IPhone is extremely slow and has been since last time website changed. Chrome on desktop is fine but maybe a bit slow.

Seems like Head Surfer is taking less interest in this site. Hope that is not a sign of things to come.
