I ain't blaming the ILLEGAL immigrants for starting any fire. I do blame them for eating up how many hundreds of millions of dollars from the county budget, that could have been better used.
The lib politicians have made their we care about you feelings shout loud and clear. Burn baby burn. But I know that's fake news, but we will see if that mayor and gavin are re elected next year based on fake news. Talk about an existential hot issue..

If the people want to vote out Gavin and the mayor, fine - they well deserve it.
Incompetent or corrupt in either party should be voted out.
But your RW folk were blaming the fires on DEI, or casting aspersion bout it.

Wrt illegal immigrants, other RW folk are assuming they set off fireworks tht caused it - and spreading the allegation. The false and targeted blame game in a disaster is a coordinated effort and begins hours after a disaster hits. Similar to funds going to illegals. Illegals do a lot of cheap labor and many pay taxes, so it is not all take.

I did not see proof they prioritized it over everything, and what percent hire is DEI anyway and who knows if the white male hires are at fault either- the problem is the low-life baseless blaming it and if the RW think tank bots did not spread it, and instead said green Martians caused the fires, you folks would obediently spread that instead.

The fact that a sizeable segment of the RW thinks it is a good idea to spread derogatory DEI videos and posts that cast aspersions of blame on the wildfires and other terrible events on DEI hires, shows us why DEI was needed in the first place - it speaks to prejudice driving the glee at the mockery of minorities because that is what it is, and trying to shift blame for it or saying you don't; have a sense of humor is not going to cut it. Everybody else sees it for what it is..

Unfortunately, DEI went too far, and that needed a correction. However, this behavior of the RW will earn backlash in the future as voting and power goes in cycles.

In 2019, the LA Department of Water and Power (LADWP) began replacing nearly 100-year-old power line poles cutting through Topanga State Park, when the project was halted within days by conservationists outraged that federally endangered Braunton’s milkvetch plants had been trampled during the process.

But, after an amateur botanist hiking through the park during the work saw the harm done to some of the park’s Braunton’s milkvetch — a flowering shrub with only a few thousand specimens remaining in the wild — and complained, the project was completely halted, Courthouse News Service reported.

Instead of fire-hardening the park, the city — which the state said had undertaken the work without proper permitting — ended up paying $2 million in fines and was ordered by the California Coastal Commission to reverse the whole project and replant the rare herb.

That work saved about 200 Braunton’s milkvetch plants — almost all of which have now likely been torched in the wildfires that consumed Topanga Canyon, along with nearly 24,000 acres (37 square miles) of some of LA’s most sought-after real estate."

I bet the power lines were the real problem, and whatever happened with the plant and park, the power lines, if they were being replaced in that one area, it continued. Research the fact of that and get back to us

Powerlines and sparks from overhead lines have been proven to be the cause of many fires, and perhaps were a cause or contributor to these wildfires, but I do not see the RW rumor and smear mill addressing that. Your bots and RW think tank did not spread it or focus on it so ya'll don;t either. There is no racist or political agenda in it so even though it is likey the far more important issue, you ignore it.
