Masks and social distancing do not work. You tell me how one person living in a house can get it and other people living in the house don't get it. ............................. These "experts" don't know ****.................

The people with the most exposure to the virus are the doctors and nurses working in emergency rooms. My wife runs an ICU and responds to the emergency room when there is a trauma (car crash, gunshot, old guy fall of roof). They estimated since March my wife has been exposed to about 400 people with Covid. The ER nurses have probably been exposed to double that. They wear masks. Only one ER gal got the virus and she died.

There are many people who have absolutely no symptoms but are positive. If you get wheeled into my wife's ER bay you automatically get a Covid test. Weekly she has people test positive with absolutely no symptoms.

About 250 people work in that ER in a given week and only one case (and one death). And you want to say masks don't work?

Out of all of those one person had a reaction where she stayed in the hospital overnight and left the next day. On my wife's team of about 20 no one had any reaction with the exception of a sore arm.

You tell me how science explains four people living in a house with one person getting COVID and other people not.

My wife had a kid with a bad gunshot a few months ago. He was positive for Covid and never had any signs or symptoms. Many people carry the disease with absolutely no symptoms. This kid was in the hospital for a long time, always tested positive but never one symptom.

Another person came in for something and had no symptoms but tested positive. A few weeks later he died from the Covid.

Last week a husband got in a car crash and was pretty messed up. He tested positive. The grieving wife came in and they told her he was positive with no symptoms. They gave her a test and she was also positive with no symptoms.

I am tired of the deniers who exposing my wife to this virus every single day and tired of the arguments from people who get their information from Facebook.

Your wife wears a mask, safety glasses, and a face shield. She basically wears a helmet. Please do not pretend that everybody in a hospital is wearing a mask and as a result of that mask is not getting COVID.

My wife wears an N-95 in the ER. When she is in her ICU she just wears a cloth mask. Everybody in the hospital, when not in their office, wears a mask of some sort.

She wears a mask, glasses, and a face shield. Stop making stuff up. You are not the only person that knows nurses or doctors.

She does NOT wear glasses and a face shield. She has her N-95 for the ER and her collection of cloth masks for the ICU. Why would I make something up? Do you live with and talk to a Doctor/RN/NP every single day?

I don't know why you would make that stuff up. Half my cousins are doctors in different states. They all wear masks, safety glasses, and face shields. I went to primary care a couple weeks ago and they all wear masks, glasses, and face shields. I went to dentist last week and they all wear masks, glasses, and face shields. Your wife is not working in the one hospital where the nurses walk around with nothing but a N-95 mask.

When an "expert" is asked for an "opinion" they usually give one. What no one says is that this "expert" is applying his/her heuristic (gut feeling) knowledge to state that "opinion." lest we appraisers forget, we opine but do not pass on any proofs within opinion. Our "opinion" is supported only by our OWN research of mostly public data and that in turn only "supports" our opinion. It does not prove it. Therefore 99% of the statements made by "experts" on TV are opinion. None of them have actually done any current research.

They probably have done research or at least are relying on other peoples research. I think conclusions and statements were made with limited information because they had to say something about how to prevent spread.

I read a paper on attempting to determine if tree rings were good indicators of temperature (since tree rings can be traced back within given areas, we can determine the actual year the ring grew) and they spent considerable time explaining the problems inherent in using such tree rings as environmental indicators (i.e- a local drought distorts the picture both in winter and summer. 2-a huge difference in responses high in the north climates and those further south.) It was a problem puzzling the late Dr. Briffa at the time of his death. Then Nature published a pop article that referenced the report claiming unconditionally that it "proved" tree ring data supported global warming. It did no such thing.
