Windows Tablets For Fieldwork

Hi Chris, sorry for the delay in replying.
You are looking for a new laptop vs. tablet, right?
I'm happy to respond on the screen aspect ratios on whatever units you are most interested in.
The main thing I'd want to know is whether or not you plan to use it outdoors very often or whether it is mainly/strictly for inside duty.

Been using for both. Laptop convertible for outdoors. Would dock in office. Tried a kickstand model once and did not like it for use as a laptop. Have had 13-14 in models but my eyes are getting worse so am hoping for 15-16 inch now. My first unit was a Lenovo x61 I think, had 2 of those, then went to first generation surface book, then Thinkpad p-35, not sure. P something. That one was a 16:9 screen, not the greatest. Then I had a Thinkpad x1, nice 3;2 screen but did not get along with the kickstand, and most recently HP spectre x360. Worked ok, screen brightness a little weak and screen itself paper thin, have replaced twice. Looking to upgrade to a device that does everything.
