Working during holidays

I always look at the weather.
Tomorrow Christmas day is clear day.
After that rain for 5 consecutive days.
I'll sacrifice myself and be with family tomorrow and go through the harsh weather appraising afterwards.
Suck it up Fern.

If you lived in an area of the country, like many on here do that truly has 4 seasons, sometimes in the same week, you would make your appointments and then dress appropriately. Over the last year I have completed inspections with temps ranging from below zero and blizzard conditions to 90+ and humid. Rain is minor inconvenience. Personally, I prefer working on the crappy days and then knock off early on the nice days.

Not me. I like to be out for appointments on nice weather days.

I don't like to get wet. Messes up my hair when measuring.
And muddy shoes in my Tesla.
And getting my Tesla inside wet when I have to lower my window glass to take comp photos. Ugh.

I was looking at the engagement letter and I realized that AMC getting 18% profit.
Initially a lower total appraisal fee and after accepting, now shows a higher total appraisal fee. WTF.
If I knew, I would have requested higher fee. I feel tricked.

They will forgive you being a day or two late. It's Christmas. You have work.

You know I won't feel sorry for you. Your client likes you. Do your best boy.

Write a nice email to CFPB general mailbox. Don't say WTF? Phrase it nicely and focus on the consumer.

CFPB focuses on the consumer. Do it boy.

Truth in lending disclosures are messed up. CFPB knows it. Be a parrot.

Just for you Tesla boy. They are on your side.

Thanks for your concern but it's a business decision.
The AMC is my best client and I don't want to make big deal out of it.
Next time, I'll be careful that the indicated total appraisal fee charged to borrower is not actual given to me initially.

The same should be applied to AMC shoplifting appraiser fee, a felony.

It's not just simply shoplifting.
Often the criminals are using stolen cars and crash into the store and then loot the store.
Often, the damage done to the glass doors and building cost more than the stuff stolen.
My big store tenant had its front door glass broken and a plywood door was installed.
I thought it was temporary, but it's been there for months. When will the door be replaced back to glass?
