Working On A FHA Check List

Rufus, I added the wood destroying insects line under foundation and I put in the line item about the rafters and beams in the attic. I tried to add some space on top of the single line items but it made my page too long and it did not look good. So, I am going to take that out and leave it as it is. Here is a copy of mine.

I like your check list too! It looks a lot like mine. Hummm? We'll just let the readers choose the one they like best. Like it really matters. I must have deleted the termite line item out when I was adding the cells back in that I took out. I'll need to add it back in.

Yes, the meeting of the minds caused them to be essentially the same. I just went ahead and completed one since I was part way there with that first sample.

Thanks for your help. I am going to use it on my tablet pc tomorrow on an inspection. I have several FHA appraisals to do but am waiting on case #s before I do the inspections. I'll use it on them too. I will be working most of the day tomorrow and may not get to post much on the forum. I will be posting the final check list on a new thread. It has been interesting watching this project evolve.

Yesterday afternoon, I ran across this thread. I saw the sheet, and printed it out. I decided to make some copies and passed them out at an appraisers meeting last night.

In again reviewing the product this morning and reading the narrative along with it shows just another benefit of the dues (time) spent on the forum. It is worthwhile time.

Now I will have to make new copies for the meeting next month.

Thanks to all of you. Here is the final FHA CHECK LIST IN pdf format. I wll be creating a third page with the gas well, storage tank, and tower info. in the next few weeks. Pass this on to any appraiser that you want to. This is considered to be freeware for all to use. Good luck!
