Who else is dead slow lately?

I almost called TC a Yinzer once, but decided to hold my tongue. One should never make unnecessary enemies in this business, especially if he’s a review appraiser who signs with initials after his name.
 
Whenever i do an appraisal in this big urban city the listings on my 1004 mc are usually 0-3 at most. This is the future predication of business here.
But, just finishing up 2 fix and flips to sell, hope the lack of listings helps motivate those looking. I'm doing at the low end of the city range right now.
 
I am proud to say:

1. I have had to stand corrected by others on this forum
2. I have stood my ground because I had the evidence, I was right
3.I detest many political positions on here
4. Some surely detest my political positions on here

5. I HAVE NEVER PUT ANYONE ON IGNORE AND NEVER WILL. I MAY NOT LIKE WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY, BUT I WILL LISTEN AND LEARN FROM OTHER OPINIONS.
 
My volume has been the same for 3 years. Looks like it’s picking up… then dies over and over. Fed funds rate goes from effectively zero for a decade to cranking up to 5 equals total painful reset of the economy .

BRCJR I agree with almost all of that post, however, I don’t have the time or patience to decipher the hieroglyphics of some our esteemed 100 post a day members. :-)
 
Didn’t know we could say “turd.” :cool: Good to know! I received a warning years ago for calling someone who was not an AF member a “scumbag.”
You can say anything here now; I've been called enough names to know!
Got an order last night -maybe next month will be better.
 
I suspect the slowness is related to the weather. We're dealing with single digits over here. I've been busy but that is related to a fortunate circumstance of a relationship I've built up over the years and his company expanding requiring five appraisals. I also think we're winning some of the bids because some of the older appraisers don't want to go out in the snow, ice and negative wind chills. I don't worry about the cold until things go from burning to numb. Hang in there J GRant, I'm pulling for you. On a side note, I watched this video on inflation from an economics professor who ties inflation to price increases and said there is a lower correlation with monetary policy. I was taught Keynesian economics but the statistics in this video were intriguing. Also, the title is click-bait. Something like Elon is wrong. Ignore that. The video is a professor talking about correlation.

Have no one on ignore, especially Fernando, since many of his posts on appraisal methods he uses reminds me of what not to do
