Who else is dead slow lately?

Didn’t know we could say “turd.” Good to know! I received a warning years ago for calling someone who was not an AF member a “scumbag.”
I have trouble seeing TC use that word with any frequency. It sounds so juvenile. Of course, I have never liked bathroom humor.

Who did you call a "scumbag?" You would think I would remember that. So, obviously it was not me.

Interest rates and the 30% rise in home prices since 2021 had reduced the pool of buyers. They simply cannot afford the monthly payments.
Here in SoCal the volume of sales also is affected by a significant decrease in the pool of potential sellers....like where they going to relocate without paying crazy high prices at much higher interest rates. Quite often when I conduct a purchase assignment of a home in which the sellers stll reside, I introduce myself and ask "When y'all moving to Texas?" Like 75% of the time they're shocked because they ARE moving to Texas.

Why are you allowing that? All those California buyers have inflated our market to the point we are not the home of cheap real estate anymore. They don't mind overpaying here because they get so much more for the price and they think they are getting a bargain when they pay over market.

Since DT took office, my business went down by half, and now is down by 2/3. Anyone else super slow lately?
I am averaging more than one a day since 01/20/2025. Must be the new leadership.

Now, doesn't that sound silly? Any seasoned appraiser should know the real estate market always has ebbs and flows that just can't be explained. The slower sales climate has increased the number of active listings significantly. Will prices drop? They haven't yet. They should with an oversupply, but they just have not. Not yet.

I get she hates the trumpeter but he took office on January 20th..and three weeks later her business is slow. There can be no correlation to a one person fee shops appraisal orders to who became president 3 or 4 weeks ago.

A one armed transgender wall paper hanger could have taken office three weeks ago and I highly doubt it would have any effect on if someone did a refinance or purchase. Sometimes I'm shocked at the level of emotions and feelings that take over peoples brains.
I may be a nut but simple logic defies your business is slow after a few weeks of Trump.

I forget to add I am only working half time

So ya went down from 3 to 1 that's nothing to panic over but next month if it goes from 3 to 0 you may want to consider an alternative lifestyle....lol
