Has Anyone Completed A 3.6 Yet

I find it weird that commenting on the existence of walls in a completed home is required. Pretty much 99%+ of the photos I take now of the interior include walls. How many homes have you been in didn't have walls?
The requirement is to provide a photo of the walls/ceiling and comment on quality/condition. If it had no walls, then it would not be a structure. It is very helpful to actually read the spec rather than speculating about non-existent requirements.

I installed one of those free measuring apps on my iPhone using the key word "walls" and it works flawlessly, but I'm not sure it's what the cyber bean counters at Fannie will be looking for.
Hello walls

OK, I have this weird idea. What if... an appraiser wore some "smart glasses" that have built in video recording, so if they "see" what's in/outside a house they're appraising, all the info would be saved conveniently in the memory of the "smart glasses" to be played back so when filling out the 'form', all details can be extracted from the glasses?

That would be subject to consent laws. So pre inspection you would have to tell the homeowner, I'm going to be wearing these glasses that will record everything in audio and video on your property, including any people that are there.

It might also be a pain in the *** in case you get a law suit for privacy violations. So maybe have them sign a form pre-inspection. Either way you will still get paid the same and more work for you.

Of course that's true, so why in the world would there be a whole separate drop down for walls. If there were no structure, then it would not be a residence, ergo not a residential appraisal. Most if not all photos of a room include the walls so again, why a whole drop down for walls?

Or just wear a Go Pro as you walk through. Pretty obvious what that is.

You do realize that reporting the wall materials and condition has been part of the URAR for over two decades, right?
