SFREP and 3.6

Did my first demo of Reggora's product yesterday. Start to finish was about 6 hours. Not too awful for a first use. Caveat: no sketch was developed.

Yikes. Sounds like you are using SFREP. I just got an email from an AMC (I seldom if ever work for) and they say Sept. 1 they want everyone doing 3.6. That is completely unrealistic at this point. I haven’t talked to a live appraiser that has done a 3.6. We don’t even know if the software will work. Bugs bugs bugs.

I use SFREP. I’m doing one for practice. There are two confirmed uploads from what I’ve gathered, both through SFREP. I honestly don’t know what to believe about 3.6 due to the numerous lies by the AMCs, grifters and their camp followers.

So if there was no sketch did you include interior photos, etc.?

I copied and pasted a sketch from Sketch-It created in the SFREP software. I experimented and it's possible to copy and paste into the sketch section. So far, the photos are another adventure, I can’t tell which photos are going where?

Maybe I misunderstood. So you did your house. Got it. Did you run comparables etc?

I gridded 3 comparables and it took far longer than it should. I chose to do a cookie cutter detached property for practice. I can tell that for any assignment where the comparables have significant differences in living area, site size, condition, quality etc. it's going to be a bear entering all the data.

Being that the form is dynamic, what happens when you walk away in the middle of your report for lunch, or to pick up the kids from school? If the computer goes into deep sleep then you rewake it up, does it save all your previous entries?

Edit: I know it sounds like a ridiculous question. But for how many posts there have been for how tedious it is to get through..... it sounds plausible that you could lose all your work. Just saying.

It appears to "auto save" which is a SFREP feature. I had a crash and it came back to the point where it crashed.

SFREP users will notice some differences. I have not been able to use the commands of =s for equal subject, =1 for comps, I don't see the import options for neighborhood and other sections. Hopefully some of those will be available in some manner.

Yeah, what is Reggora? Sounds like a commercial drug I hear on TV.

Congratulations on feeding the demon (there's no such thing as free). Btw, what did you like/dislike about it vs SFREP?
